I write every day, and have been known to write on pieces of paper, even on shopping receipts if I am away from my desk. The problem is,  I've accidently thrown them away!

As well as writing books I have written a piece for Teach Primary magazine, Chicken Magazine and travel blogs.

My workshops are about encouraging children to write; I use storytelling, audience participation, especially Q&A session and . Also, I bring along my writing pads, full of mistakes and words that had been crossed out, to show how I write and proofs, so that children can see how initial ideas have developed into a book.

I have done workshops and talks in Norway, Hong Kong, Scotland, Ethiopia, England, Wales, Nigiera and five states in the USA.

I have included a testimonial from one of my workshops in America.

'Thank you so much for the wonderful presentation at the Library of Congress...we hope that you can come again...Karen W. Jaffe, Program Specialist Director, Young Readers Centrer Library of Congress, Washington DC, USA.
