Details

I love visiting schools and libraries and say yes to as many invitations as I can, while leaving time for writing. I enjoy travelling abroad. Please visit my website for biographical info, descriptions of my books, schemes of work using my books, fees and details of my presentations:

1. How a book is made - a lively demonstration of the process 'from brainwave to book'. I bring drafts and proofs.

2. Let's start a Story!  - a story-writing workshop.

3. Tell Me - I lead a discussion focussing on one or more of my books.

4. Join in with Julia! A lively interactive hands-on session. Meet my cuddly characters, dance the cancan with Kanga, run away from the anaconda and join in with my stories.

I'll devise other presentations to suit specific audiences.

NB Sorry, I'm fully booked for World Book Day and the whole of spring term. I'm now taking bookings for summer and autumn terms 2009.
