I'm full of enthusiasm and have great fun sharing my world and stories with children (and adults). As an author I've created characters based on real life animals and their adventures reflect the natural world they live in. Books are illustrated throughout with cameo appearances on each page to keep the conversations fresh. My visits include activities with the children and as I'm an expert on the world of Polly Paint Pony, I love the challenge of Q&A with all children - curve balls included! Visits are tailored to suit the children's age groups with tongue twisting challenges to get all the children (and their teachers) involved. As a business owner I can run sessions around soft skills, research skills, business management skills and team building.

I was so lucky to be asked by a collection of Waterstones branches for a collection of book-signings which were such delightful affairs. Children and parents meeting me? What more could one ask for of a Saturday? I visit prep and state schools regularly to encourage, to entertain and to help instil a sense of fun and magic into the lives of children. A live talk with a person is far more intriguing than wondering if what if? - if you are an inspiring author? Books entertain and teach and guide and create a familiarity and a resonance between the words and the reader. I've also lectured from an author stance to the WI. And only two of them fell asleep.
