Hello!

Thank you for your interest in one of my author-led visits.

Whether it’s listening to one of my stories, exploring the emotions of characters, or finding out how to write a book and become authors for themselves- my visits provide lots of exciting opportunities to learn through creative and imaginative story telling.

Children of all ages will hear first hand what it takes to become an author and how they could become one too!

All of my visits and workshops will be….

  • FUN!
  • I will use a variety of props and activities to keep attention levels up.
  • I will share ways I develop exciting ideas for a new book.
  • I will help children create their own impressive book ideas.
  • Everyone will get the chance to construct an entertaining character, book or scene.

My workshops aim to….

  • Generate enthusiasm for reading.
  • Inspire children to write.
  • Develop confidence in language.
  • Understand how to make improvements in their work.

I will work with you to develop a tailor made visit that suits your nursery, school, library or other event. This can range from whole school assemblies, full class workshops or smaller group activities.

Resource packs are also available to support the day and I offer the opportunity for personalised book signings and Q&A discussions.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at Sarah.morrell3@gmail.com

Kind Regards

Sarah
