Details

I'm M.G. Vaciago, a children’s author and a writer of adult fiction. I'm also a mum of three boys and an avid reader. I created the Big Little Voice ® series to empower children and the Dino Cloud® books were written to ignite a child’s imagination and in writing my books, I fulfilled a childhood ambition to be an author.

My Big Little Voice series (suitable for KS2 and KS3) is a collection of emotionally supportive children’s books designed to help young readers explore important themes such as bullying, self-esteem, anxiety, resilience, grief, friendship, and emotional wellbeing in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate way. Through relatable characters and meaningful stories, the series helps children understand and express emotions they may otherwise struggle to communicate. Titles include Big Little Voice Colours the Grey, focusing on bullying and confidence; Big Little Voice Behind the Smile, exploring self-worth and hidden emotions; Big Little Voice Dries My Tears, which gently addresses bereavement, sadness, and healing and Big Little Voice Calms the Storm, supporting anxiety awareness and emotional regulation.

The Dino Clouds Party (suitable for EYFS and KS1) supports the curriculum through themes of friendship, inclusion, emotions, imagination, and social development, making it a useful resource for EYFS and primary classrooms, particularly within PSHE, literacy, and communication learning.

My books strongly supports the primary school curriculum, particularly within PSHE, Relationship Education, Mental Health and Wellbeing, and English. The stories encourage empathy, resilience, emotional literacy, and positive communication while also creating opportunities for comprehension, inference, creative writing, oracy, and classroom discussion. The books are especially valuable during wellbeing initiatives, Anti-Bullying Week, Children’s Mental Health Week, World Book Day, and wider pastoral support programmes, helping schools promote inclusion, kindness, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.

I am DBS cleared and have Public Liability Insurance cover for any work carried out within schools and local authority venues. I am also a member of the Society of Authors.
