Andrew led an engaging whole school assembly in the morning which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout the day he led engaging workshops across the school and the feedback was excellent. He launched our new school library and this was a wonderful event and then he signed copies of his books and he also donated a few of these to our school. We had a fantastic day and I would recommend Andrew to other schools. The children enjoyed his poetry and also his picture books.

Matt was really engaging, charismatic, and the sentiment of the workshops were also a great idea. He was brilliant in the Q&A and the preparation was good before with a phone call, sorting out groups etc. the children really enjoyed the assemblies and workshops.
I would suggest that for the first assembly, there could be a short branching narrative to introduce the idea, and a ppt with pictures / his books etc to sharpen up delivery. I would also suggest that the workshops could be supported with pictures of some sort as well, or maybe after using AI when the children have made their story? I found it hard to follow just listening to it. We are a deprived area in Nottingham and pictures/ practical resources really support with this.

Children and staff alike thoroughly enjoyed our visit from Ann. Every year group participated in a tailor made workshop that included story telling, music, movement and the opportunity for the children to ask Ann about her journey to become an author and top tips to improve their own writing. It was a fun and truly inspirational day!

Alice was fantastic at our Children’s Literature Festival, running two wonderful workshops on Matisse and modern art. The children loved the creativity and freedom her sessions encouraged, and several adults commented on how engaging and well-delivered they were. Everyone came away inspired and full of ideas.

Alice was absolutely brilliant at our Children’s Literature Festival. Her workshop based on The Leaf Thief was a huge hit with both children and families. The session was engaging, fun, and perfectly pitched for young readers — everyone left with smiles on their faces and lovely feedback about how much they enjoyed it.

We had an excellent online event with Matt Oldfield. He was very engaging and his passion for reading and writing really came across in his delivery. He was very well prepared and was happy to answer the many many questions the children put to him through the chat box function. I'd highly recommend him for online events.
