I'm a fully-qualified teacher as well as an author, based in London.

What I offer:

-Author talks for all ages

-Inspiring sessions to develop children's writing. 

-Workshops in upper KS2 focusing on transition to secondary school and friendship with a strong emphasis on empathy.  

-Call The Puffins! fun interactive workshops for age 5+

-Adult writers' workshops

I am very flexible and happy to adapt to a variety of school requests. Over the past few years my work in schools has included: Book Week visits, Year 6 writers' groups, pupil premium mentoring projects, speaking and listening workshops, festival scripts for individual and group performance, playscript-writing, Year 5 and 6 productions, assemblies and performance poems for school events.

I have given talks about my work to book groups and at Kingston University.

I am a Reading Zone Author on London Grid For Learning, creator of Space Adventures, a filmed curriculum resource for KS2 and 3, consisting of Vlogs from an astronaut as she travels to the Moon.
