Ian engaged my Year 8s as he delved into his world of fantasy with goblins and mystery. He was so accommodating, being available to meet ahead of the sessions to ensure everything ran smoothly. He gave my pupils good tips for the writing process which he worked through with them. They particularly enjoyed his reading of key parts of his story. Ian's material suits a more mature audience, and he was willing to answer questions and engaged well with my pupils.

Zehra's visit to our school was wonderful. She was well-organised, friendly and passionate about sharing her journey as an author and illustrator to inspire young readers. The children were so excited to meet Zehra and loved the opportunity to ask questions about her stories. They were also thrilled to take part in her draw-along workshops and produced some beautifully creative illustrations as a result. Thank you so much Zehra, we hope to see you again soon!

Ashley Thorpe was excellent! He ran an assembly session with Year 7 and Year 8. Our students were enthralled; they were particularly interested to find out that he liked some of the same manga and had the same or similar favourite characters to them. Our students were kept engaged throughout the session, and they really enjoyed the Q&A section. Lots of requests for more copies of his book in our school library after the event!

What a pleasure it was to have Matt visit us on Tuesday 11th March. His presentation to our year 7 & 8 students was engaging and set at just the right level. Matt was ready to answer the questions that the students had and they were grateful for his time in signing their books. Our year 9 students listened attentively to Matt's resilience workshop and there is still a buzz in the school that 'the football author' has been in!
