On Wednesday, March 6th, Cat graced us with her presence to enhance our World Book Week festivities. Her charisma and engaging demeanor captivated everyone. She skillfully tailored each session to cater to the different year groups, leaving the children in awe and thoroughly enjoying her enchanting stories. Additionally, Cat generously took the time to sign copies of her books for our school library. It was indeed a delightful visit! :)

Diana was fantastic, her organisation and communication before the event was thorough and enabled the visit to run smoothly.
Diana was amazing. She pitched her well organised and meaningful presentation at the correct level for our students and delivered it faultlessly.
It was fantastic to have someone, not only local, as an inspirational speaker but also someone who's life experiences are so relatable to many of our students.
Its always great to see our students so engaged. It was an important opportunity for them to find out about the creative process behind being an author and to inspire our young writers.

We had a brilliant day with M. P. Robertson on Thursday 29th February. The whole school enjoyed a talk at the beginning of the day, then (after a bit of technical trouble!) the children enjoyed dragon drawing workshops. Reception children also enjoyed a lovely story time. There has been very positive feedback from teachers and children alike.

Julia Jarman is an amazing lady. She worked with all age groups - nursery up to year 6. She really brings her books alive. The children found her a real inspiration as she told them their attempts to write do not have to be perfect first time. She was a source of great information about how she writes her books and shared her recipe for writing stories. She took the time after school to not only sign books children had bought but to write a personal message. It was a fantastic day.

John O'Leary visited our school, we thought he was an illustrator but he was much, much more. His books are really beautiful with wonderful pop-up creations. He calls himself a paper engineer. He is so creative and imaginative. He worked with years 3-6 to create their own pop-up book. The children really enjoyed it and produced some fantastic work. We are now purchasing all of his books if we can as I know some of them are out of print. I would highly recommend other schools work with Mr O'Leary.
