Feedback from events

A wonderful event, Sally gave interesting, inspiring talks for our younger students and a brilliant creative writing workshop for our GCSE students. Many thanks!

Andy provided really engaging sessions for all year groups- from nursery to year 6. The children thoroughly enjoyed working with him and have continued to build on the workshops in their follow up lessons. Staff were also extremely complimentary of the content and pitch of the sessions and Andy’s interaction with the children. Would highly recommend!

this was a great event - the students got so much out of it. Joe's story telling to demonstrate how stories come together was just perfect. Joe was incredibly engaging and got across the key messages that we had discussed prior to him coming. The whole process was easy to arrange and would definitely use Joe in the future.

Sophie's workshops fitted in with our Dyslexia Awareness Week theme of Breaking Down Barriers to use pictures to help tell a story. We have had such positive feedback from both pupils and staff – everybody absolutely loved it and got a lot out of it. Thank you Sophie!

Thank you so much for visiting us. The children and staff had an amazing day! Jason's wit and enthusiasm captivated us from start to finish - I've not stopped humming his song all week! Would highly recommend.

Ken was brilliant. His workshops were thoroughly enjoyed by all the students. He worked with the whole of year 8 in a large workshop and also in small groups with year 10 and 9, all the students were engaged. It was amazing how quickly he got them writing creative pieces. Ken also did a year 7 assembly, we had some ICT issues which he was unfazed by and delivered the session with out his ppt, which really helped us. Would certainly book Ken again

We spent a delightful afternoon with Penny at KGGS. I thought Penny's choice of reading from I Have No Secrets hit just the right spot, the talk was well paced and interesting. The students asked lots of questions and were clearly engaged. We also sold a lot of books. The combination of thriller/protagonists with disabilities works well in highlighting diversity issues in schools.

John inspired all our children to write & contribute to their group’s pop up story book. His manner is so calm & engaging the children learnt a lot & enjoyed the day.

Cat was very professional and the students engaged throughout each session. One student even advised their teacher that it was the "best lesson ever!" Cat verbally praised each student and gave time for each student to share their answers with their peers, which thus boosted their confidence. A great day was had by all.

Thank you so much for a wonderful morning, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and listening to your fascinating presentations, and the extracts from your books! Thank you also for raising our awareness of people and characters with communicative disabilities, representation is so important and we really learned a lot from your work!
