Everyone had a super day when John visited our school. The videos he sent beforehand were fun and got the children ready for the day. They all enjoyed beginning to make the pop-ups and moving parts for their books and are keen to continue and finish them. The staff commented on how enthusiastic the children were. Thank you John

Sophie was excellent. The children loved her stories and the workshop for our school aged children was pitched well. The younger children loved listening to her read a story. Thank you for everything Sophie.

Simon was fantastic. He inspired the children across Key Stage 2 with his life story and how he never gave up in his dream to publish a book. He motivated children to become readers and writers and was perfect for World Book Week.

We booked Daniel to come and work with three schools in our MAT during a literacy festival. He spent three days working with the three schools. The work he did with the children was fantastic and really supported the theme of the week. All the feedback from the schools within the Academy was extremely positive. Daniel made a real connection with the children teaching them about how he writes and where he gets his ideas from to how he gets these down on paper. His workshops with KS2 were engaging and really gave the children a starting point to produce some fantastic writing in the week. I would absolutely have Daniel back in our schools to share his fabulous stories and work creatively with the children. Thank you Daniel for enhancing our learning in our literacy week.

A very successful visit, thank you.
The children enjoyed your input and we have incorporated some of your suggestions for story ideas into the work we have sent home during the school closure.
Thank you, Christina

It was fantastic to have Lou in school - she went to all classes from Early Years to Year 4 and engaged with all of the students in a calm and lovely manner. The children loved listening to her stories and joining in with the activities and were excited and inspired to meet a real author!

An spent the whole day with us at school on March 5th 2020 and ran three workshops.
The workshops were enjoyed by children and staff. An told her stories, explained how books are made and how she had become an author. This matched well with our whole school focus on literacy. Workshops were fun and interactive, each group were left with a follow up task. Would recommend to other schools without hesitation. Thanks An!
